Because I think we need a thread for completely random information.
For Example: Apparently, donkeys are like elephants in that they **know** when they are going to die and wander off on their own to do so. Because of this, finding a dead donkey is actually rather rare and if you see one it is seen to be good luck. So, yeah, YAY DEAD DONKEYS.

Completely random information is good for last-minute inspiration.
That being said, the word "barbarian" comes from ancient Rome, where the Romans didn't bother learning German because to them, it just sounded like the Germans were saying "barbarbarbarbar..." _________________ If you could write something better than Eragon, copy and paste this into your signature. |

If you find a dead donkey it is not good luck unless you jump over it three times, sorry, my bad. _________________ Everywhere I go I find that a poet has been there before me.

Actually, on the note of the donkey, Cats have a tendency to do that as well. _________________ “Fixed fortifications are monuments to man's stupidity.” ~General George S Patton Jr. |

I don't think I've ever heard of a dead cat being lucky, though. A source of endless amusement, perhaps, but not lucky. _________________ If you could write something better than Eragon, copy and paste this into your signature. |

No, no, I didn't mean being lucky, I meant they tend to go off and find their own quiet spot to die. It's like they know. _________________ “Fixed fortifications are monuments to man's stupidity.” ~General George S Patton Jr. |

Maybe humans are just an extraordinarily clueless species. It seems like everyone knows when to kick it but us. _________________ If you could write something better than Eragon, copy and paste this into your signature. |

This reminds me, there was a monkey in some lab somewhere that had brain damage. The only effect this brain damage seemed to have was that the monkey walked upright like a human.
And there you have it, we are monkeys with brain damage.
I probably told all of you that story before, oh well. IT IS NOW PRESERVED ON THE INTERNET. _________________ Everywhere I go I find that a poet has been there before me.
