Open Role-playAlright, I thought I would get a nice little open-ended roleplay running here. The universe will be explored as we go along and I have no idea where it is headed. For now, each user can have one character... if the need arises later on I may allow more. This is really just for fun so feel free to use mild Sues and Stus and just go with the flow.
I will start:
Gregory looked about his dimly lit surroundings, hoping to find the sorce of what little light there was and possibly make it brighter. As it was he had no idea where he was or how he had come to be there. This was nothing new, he often found himself in this situation... though usually there was a bit more light. Crazy things happen to the traveling entertainer, especially the not-so-talented ones.

(I've never rp-ed before, really, so here's an attempt.. ^^;)
Scene Change!
Amelia’s world had been toppled upside-down.
Literally.
Carefully, oh so carefully, she bent one of her elbows, lifting her hand up off the ground. Her body tottered a little. Straightening out her arm, she shuffled her body and picked up her other arm, planting it across from her other one. She teetered a little more. A bead of sweat rolled down her forehead and onto the floor. Biting on her lower lip in concentration, she bent both of her arms and pushed off – hard. Gliding into the air, she flipped herself, head over heels, heels over head and once more head over heels until her feet slapped the clay ground. Raising her hands over her head, she smiled widely and bent down into a bow; her left leg sweeping back behind her as she did so.
And the invisible crowd cheered wildly.
Her grin slid off her face, the corners of her eyes seemed to visibly droop. Reaching up, she pulled on the tie that kept her hair back, letting a waterfall of black hair cascade down her shoulders and her back. She tipped her head back and shook it from side to side, sheets of hair swaying and swishing back and forth. She tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear, wishing she had the talent – and the support – to join a traveling circus.
Yeah right, she laughed sadly. As if there was any hope for the only heir to the throne to do what she wanted. Unless, of course, what she wanted, was to be an empress. Which, Amelia had realized a few years ago, she didn’t. It didn’t matter how far she could walk on her hands or how many times she could do a perfect summersault. All that mattered was that she was a good leader with a pretty face. No one cared much past that...

((Yay! I forgot to post this earlier.)
Puffy clouds were all that could be seen to her, something about the day stirred unsettling thoughts around, behind everything else.
What would her name be today?
That was the question on her mind. She'd long been without one, not since her last friends had gone away.
Getting up, she set out to find one. Not having anything better to do is often the cause for her own undoing, but she ignores the nagging voice, telling her to sit there and make one up on the spot.
Letting the hem of her cloak sliver along, she set off towards town. Breathing out, she let her breath hang there, before scattering it with a swipe.
Walking softly, hardly kicking up stray leaves, she almost drifted towards her destination.
Something about the day, something, just something.
"Today, is a good day to find a name." she whispered to the wind, leaving whatever doubts she had behind her on the hilltop.
((Hope its good enough!))

BARS, Gregory realized at last, the light is on the otherside of those bars.
He groaned audibly, it was suddenly coming back to him is vivid technicolor- the bar, the beer, the babes... the blasted bet. The arrest. The barS. When would he ever learn? Ah, what good would learning do him now... unless it was learning how to pick the lock and pull a Houdini on the guards.
