Prolouge for Darth Malice Prologue
It was late in the afternoon when the young man and his life long friend Eos Zephyrus walked through the streets of the new hilltown city of Bela Vistal on the planet of Corellia. A cool breeze blew through the city, but it was the breeze that always blew down from the mountains and those people who had lived there long enough had become acclimated from it’s chill.
“We had a good rhythm going there for a while.” Andrew Starlighter remarked as the two turned down a side street with their wooden reeds in hand.
“Yeah, but you have this weird thing where you stop mid swing and do something else that throws me off.” Eos commented back.
“I’m not trying to.” Andrew replied, almost apologetically.
“It’s not a bad thing, in fact it’s actually a good thing,” Eos said before pausing, “Normally I can predict what you’re going to do somehow, but when you do that I’m lost.”
Andrew stopped a moment, “What do you mean you can predict it somehow?” His voice showed a tone of concern.
“I don’t know.” Eos replied, “It’s like I can see what you’re going to do before you do it.”
“You have been able to too?” Andrew asked.
“What are you getting at?” Eos asked in return.
Andrew stood silent for a moment, “I can always tell what you’re going to do before you do it, that’s why I change moves mid swing.”
Eos thought for a moment before shrugging and offering his friend a comforting smile, “Maybe we just know how we both work. I wouldn’t think much of it.”
Andrew desided to let the matter drop. He got in enough trouble for it when he mentioned his strange actions at home. Although he was only eight years old, Andrew felt as though he was much different than normal kids his age, that he had a special destiny and special powers, but he couldn’t account for them. His parents were both high ranking officials with the government. His father was the regional Govenor, and his mother was the planet’s Senator. To them Andrew was a disgrace. Several times his parents had thought of putting the boy up for adoption, but nothing had ever come of it. Instead Andrew was living in a prison rather than a home.
Eos on the other hand was an orphan who had lived on the streets for almost as long as he could remember. Though his lot in life couldn’t have been much worse, Eos was always content with the life he lived and often recived gifts for his kindness rather than having to steal food and other nessiary items to survive. The two couldn’t have lived more different lives, yet they were the best of friends. But their difference in living styles would lead them down very different, yet paralell, roads.

Not to be a spoil sport, but I am not yet decided on having fanfiction appear here. There are plenty of other sites much more fitting for such works.
That said, I will check this out later for critiquing purposes.
