SocksBecause I firmly believe in discussing the matter properly:
Please briefly review the pair of socks you are currently wearing.
I will use mine as an example:
Today I am wearing a pair of black socks, which, contrary to grammar school singsonging, actually can get quite dirty. They also have a horrid habit of sliding down and crumpling about my ankels when I would much rather have them stay at their full height. Still, they are quite comfy and thus earn a 3.5 out of 5 sock points.

Well, I'm currently sporting a pair of black socks as well, however, mine also have candy canes on them. Red and white candy canes with green ribbons and green and white candy canes with red ribbons. And the top of my socks are green. Rather festive, I think. And very comfortable. I'd give them a 4.5 out of 5 sock points- a half a point lost because they're not as warm as my fuzzy socks... ^^

Right now I am wear a fabulous pair of black tights, but since they are not really socks they score a measely 3.5

And today I'm wearing a pair of fuzzy slightly-less-whiter-than-they-originally-were white socks. Very comfortable and very warm. But they only get a 3.5 out of 5 sock points - losing points both because they aren't as bright white as they used to be and because there is one small hole in the side of one.

Currently wearing a pair of plain white socks, since acquiring other's is hard to do with parents like mine breathing down my neck, nevertheless!
They score a 2.4.
Now... to plot out ways to get new socks... *mischievous grin*

Today I'm wearing a fabulous pair of light purple fuzzy socks. Very cute, very warm. They score a 4.5 out of 5 sock points. :3

I admit to swiping today's socks from my mother's drawer. That said, they are practically perfect, like Mary Poppins. Gray and close fitting, they do not slouch down the ankles at all! They are so simple in style that they look smashing with every pair of shoes I own... not to mention that somehow these thin looking socks are magically warm! A blessing, considering the lack of heat in my room.
A perfect 5 out of 5 for this pair. Mommy may never get them back!

For Christmas my mum sent me a pack of Little Miss Matched socks (Yes, that's a brand name. This is totally an endorsement.) which included three knee-length argyle socks. Each individual sock arranges the three colours they share differently, so, although they still have the same colour scheme, none of the socks match. They're very bright (orange, pink, and fuchsia) and very comfortable, and also very warm thanks to their length. I give them a 4.6 out of 5. A perfect score would go to one of the other, even more colourful sets which I covet and are advertised on their website.
