I WILL PRAY
If you go away
I will pray
I will pray to God
And I pray like I never have
Sit at the end of my bed
With my hands folded
As the streaming tears fall down
Give me strength to know you are still there
I will pray that he watches over you
That the angels with their guiding light
Bring you back to me
Bring you back to your family
Bring you back to me, warm and alive
I knew that this is a part of it
I knew this when I fell for you
And I believe in everything
And no matter what I’ll always be proud of you
I will not turn my back, turn away, cry in vain
I will cry because I love you and that I worry for you
Cry tears of joy just because
You are doing something that most people seem to forget
Forget what we stand for
Forget what we live, breathe, and die for
Forget how we stand and who we are
I have made my decision with you
I will never turn my back on you
I will pray forever
I will pray just for you
I believe everything that I am saying is true
I stand strong and steady and I’ll be solid for you
I will pray
I will pray for you

I love this one! It makes me feel so special! I think it explains a lot of how people feel who have service men overseas. :) _________________ “Fixed fortifications are monuments to man's stupidity.” ~General George S Patton Jr. |

This is a wonderful poem, filled to the brim with good imagnery and a soild message. A beautiful poem for a soldier to hear no matter where they are in life. _________________ "There was a dream that was Rome. You could only whisper it.
