CHRISTMAS
Christmas is a time
Christmas is a feeling that is very hard for you
And I was so scared because I wanted to be there for you
All the shadows that fall behind you
All the pain and the memories
All the things that weep for you
I wish I could take those tears and scars away from you
Your heart weighs heavy as you fall on Christmas Eve
My heart’s only hope is to take away the tears
Take away the weight
Take away and heal these scars in any way I can
Christmas for me has only been my father
Telling me I can have nothing within me
No trees, no singing, no celebrating
It isn’t even the material things
It is my heart
It is my feeling
It is everything he tries to kill within me
And for you I want to offer everything to make you safe
I’ll offer you a Christmas dream that is my heart
I’ll offer you anything to heal your heart
I know this pain will not go away
I know your heart will weigh heavy
And I know it still should
Because this event shapes the wonderful person which is you
But I want to offer you my heart and healing

It's wonderful! It's so perfect, I don't know what to say! I know you're there for me and I know you want all the pain to go away, and I think you capture both our situations really well! I'm glad you made it about you too and not just me!
